Description of our Service

Cookidoo is a digital platform that provides access to more than 100,000 Thermomix recipes, enabling users to discover, save, and cook a wide range of dishes. You can subscribe to Cookidoo to enjoy these recipes. After the free trial phase, you have the option to end your subscription or continue with a paid plan.

Accessibility of our Service

Insofar as the Cookidoo platform is an “e-commerce service”, accessibility requirements under the European Accessibility Act (EAA, Directive (EU) 2019/882) apply. This is notably the case for purchases of paid subscriptions.

Accessibility notably requires content such as texts, images, but also certain functions on our website to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

Perceivable means that users must be able to perceive the information being presented. To mitigate accessibility issues when accessing non-text content, this may be achieved by providing text alternatives. For our content to be perceivable, we are also required to verify that it is adaptable, meaning that it can be presented in different ways, and distinguishable, meaning that it is made easier for users to hear and see relevant information.

Operable means that the user interface must allow users to operate relevant components and the navigation. This includes topics such as ensuring accessibility also when using other input devices than a mouse and giving users sufficient time to read and use content.

Understandable means that Cookidoo users must be able to understand both the information and the operation of the user interface. Amongst other requirements, we have to ensure that text is readable and understandable, and that navigation is predictable.

Robust means that content can be interpreted by different user agents, notably assistive technologies. We are required to maximize compatibility both with current and future user agents.

We are committed to continuous improvement in terms of accessibility.
